Ninja Gaiden was released in 1989 on the NES by famed publisher Tecmo. Tecmo made some real good games and Ninja Gaiden was one of its flagships. It had real good, challenging game play and a good story of redemption.

This movie features Stage 5. This stage is difficult from start to finish. With challenging jumps and enemies that are tough to time and kill. Patience and a little luck is needed as you traverse the mountain ruins. After three different set pieces you end up battling Marth, who Ryu thinks killed his father. After defeating Marth, he tells Ryu that his father is alive and will see him if he travels further. Off to level 6 where we will see what happened to our father and to get the Dragon Statues back.

Mini Review
Game was one of my favorites and it still is very good. The end of the game can be challenging but rewarding. It was a great add to the NES Classic and completing this one will make you want to go through the sequels. One more note the soundtrack on this game was excellent and added to the overall experience.

These games are still fun for a quick play through on something like the NES Classic or your favorite emulator.
