NES – RUSH N ATTACK – TARGET 6 – IS IT ANY GOOD?

Rush N Attack was released in 1987 on the NES by famed publisher Konami. I loved the Konami games and this one was no different. It featured run and gun gameplay that was sometimes unrelenting in its difficulty. They did make the American version of the game a little easier by allowing the player 5 lives to start.
This movie features Target 6 which also the last level in the game. In this level we face all of the previous enemies in number but i found staying on the top level made it much easier to get through. After working your way through the whole bomb hanger you eventually run into the actual nuclear missile itself. After defeating wave after wave of enemy you finally destroy the missile with the rocket launcher. That is game over for this game and onto the next one.
Mini Review
Game still is good to me, although I do not remember it being as difficult to control as it is 🙂 Controls have taken a little bit to get down, but it is slowly coming back to me.
These games are still fun for a quick play through on something like the NES Classic or your favorite emulator.
